What started as an intellectual response to the increasingly popular New Atheist movement became a communal and personal declaration of faith. A Voice from Deep Space has been an eight year journey for award winning documentarian Sean Finnegan, a journey in which the filmmaker discovered an expression of his own faith through the voices of those he interviewed. Inspired by the work of Errol Morris, Finnegan’s style is personal and insightful, quietly enriching and capable of instilling a hopeful view of the role of a commitment to faith in a contemporary world which often tends toward the secular and atheistic. After its time in the festivals, A Voice from Deep Space will be available to view beginning on September 15th, 2024.
